Maldives Experiences
Dive in and let your adventure begin
Synonymous to paradise, the Maldives is one of the best places for diving and snorkelling. Its rich and kaleidoscopic marine life make for a unique underwater experience. Whichever atoll you decide to stay on, you’ll be greeted with vibrant coral reefs, crystal-clear waters and 15-25 meters of visibility. The Maldives is home to thousands of marine species. The colourful coral reefs vaunt crabs, molluscs, tropical fish, manta rays and sea turtles. Bigger players also reside in Maldivian waters, including spotted eagle rays, tuna, dolphins, tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks and the gentle giants, whale sharks. Located in the Indian Ocean and at the top of the equator, the Maldives enjoys year-round warm weather and a consistent average water temperature of between 26°C – 29°C making this the perfect holiday destination for all water lovers. Make a splash at places like Hanifaru Bay on Baa Atoll, Manta Point on South Ari Atoll and Fotteyo Kandu on Vaavu Atoll.

World famous surf spots in the Maldives
Discovered by shipwrecked surfers in the 1970s, North and South Male Atolls are now global surf hotspots, known for consistent waves and iconic breaks like Pasta Point, Chickens, Cokes and Jailbreaks. Peak surf hits in late summer with waves up to eight feet. North Male is famous for long rides over 100 metres. Less crowded, the Central Atolls, especially Thaa and Laamu, offer consistent, barrelling waves perfect for adventurous intermediates. Top spots include Malik’s, Finnimas, Ying Yang and Refugee’s Lefts and Rights. These remote breaks need specific swell and wind conditions and are best accessed by boat charter.
