*Kuranda Skyrail & Rail
Your Down Under Tours driver will greet you, collect your voucher and issue your Kuranda Boarding Pass, which includes all Skyrail, rail and transfer details. No ticket queues are required. Free time is available in Kuranda Village, and your Boarding Pass will clearly show return travel and coach information.

*Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is undergoing an exciting major upgrade that will deliver brand new gondolas and an enhanced rainforest experience. Depending on your travel date, your Skyrail experience will operate either as the classic journey from Smithfield to Kuranda, or as a specially curated Skyrail loop from Kuranda to Barron Falls and return. Please see below tour inclusions for relevant travel dates:

Skyrail Experience from Smithfield to Kuranda (including Red Peak & Baron Falls)
Now – 19 July 2026; 26 October 2026 – 31 March 2027
Travel by coach to Smithfield Station to board Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and travel up to Kuranda with stops at Red Peak and Barron Falls stations, followed by time in Kuranda Village and a one‑way journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway.

CLOSED
20 July – 18 August 2026
No Skyrail Rainforest Cableway tours will operate during this period due to a full Skyrail closure.

Skyrail Loop Experience from Kuranda to Baron Falls
19 August – 25 October 2026 (Wednesday to Sundays only – closed Monday and Tuesday)

Important Note: Quicksilver Cruises Fuel Surcharge
Quicksilver Cruises will introduce a modest fuel surcharge from 1 May 2026 due to ongoing fuel price increases across Australia.
A fee of $10 per adult and $5 per child (4–14 years) will apply to Great Advenutres Outer Reef. This will be payable directly to the operator on the day of travel. Not applicable to infants (0–3 years).

Cancellation Charges
